The Masonry Work is Completed

Praise the LORD for the great success of my masons! The masonry work is completed now, with the exception of the window sills (rock borders), which will be done after the windows are installed.

Ready For Rock Work

My cross-braces are securely welded in place. My electric and plumbing are roughed-in, in the outside walls. My masons have arrived, and will start laying rock in the morning. I am looking forward to what the LORD will allow us to accomplish this week!

The Roof Is On

With great excitement I report that my house has been framed up, and the roof is even on. I am convinced this is the level-est, squarest and plumb-est building in Haiti.  They did a superb job!

The House Framed Up and Roof On

A special thanks goes to my brothers from Fellowship Bible Church in Longview, Texas who came and "worked their butts off" for the LORD this past week.

I have been homeless, or should I say nomadic, for the past 2 years. While this has been a fun challenge, it has still been a challenge.

Along the journey, the LORD has shown me his plan to do more full-time ministry and have a little place to refresh and regroup. Or in other words, a place to hang my hat. The LORD had miraculously provided to do all that I have done thus far; find and purchase land, complete paperwork for land, build a road (still a work in progress), drill a well, and build the first part of the house (the garage).

The Garage Thus Far
This week I am looking forward to continuing the journey as a team from Fellowship Bible Church in Longview, Texas is coming to help "frame up" the rest of the house.

Praise the LORD for taking me on this exciting journey.
